The Bumpkin Brothers are Rich and Andy. Two game developers from the West Midlands in the UK. They like tea, cake, croquet and video games.
Back in 2005 Rich and Andy joined a small business software company at the same time and it wasn't long before Rich forgave Andy for getting his job (because he was suddenly Andy's boss). For the next few years both continued to make games in their spare time and in 2009 decided it was too dangerous to go alone (take this) and banded together to form the Bumpkin Brothers! Originally they were going to fight crime, but after *not* developing any super powers they decided to make games instead. After that
Christmas 2009 brought about the first game from the duo, a small seasonal game called "Block a Drop: Christmas rush" completely failed to make millions on the app store. However the next year they released The Machine which did well on Impulse (when it was still owned by Stardock). That gave them some much needed experience in actually getting something "out there". Next came The Tribloos in 2011 which was released on BigFishGames and Gamehouse. This did even better and prompted a sequel in 2013 which did just well enough for the guys to take the biggest leap of faith in their lives and go full time as the Bumpkin Brothers!Even further after that
After a year or so working full time they went back to work - because, y'know families to feed and cars to run. It was a blast but they needed to move on. However they continue to make games in their spare time (which appears to have vanished, but they still try!)
